We are the Kringga

Wahahahaha.... I burst into laughing when the idea of writing about my Kringga friends came to my mind (sorry girls). It's just that, the history of the word 'Kringga" came in and a rush of funny and weird flashbacks from college days came into my conscious mind.

Why on earth we call our group, oh well we call ourselves "Kringga"? Well, a little knock knock on our memory. We had a group project in I think Educ 9, under Sir Jerome, (crush ni...) and we come up with a group name, "KRINGGA", what does that mean again? Hmmmm... According to memory, the meaning of that is weird, odd, strange, uncanny, unusual and all other synonyms! Hahahaha... We were asked to to create a newsletter and we featured weird news, that's to support the idea of the group name. In our first defense, our dearest professor was very cruel to us! Hahahaha... Well, it was our fault though, but we were embarrassed in front of our classmates, I will not go with detail because I know this part of our college years is supposed to be placed in a box and never be open again. Whenever me and my friends get together now and look back our college days and unexpectedly jump into this topic, we would stare at each other and say CHANGE TOPIC! Hahahaha...

We were 5 in the group, that's the original "Kringga", Telai, Au, Coi, May and Nina. But as years went by, the group became bigger. As in bigger, 3 out of the ordinary girls were added, 3 lang pala! Hahahaha... And out of the ordinary pa talaga ang sinabi! Madam Zel, Madam Lois and Mary became one of us, "Kringga". We wear different brands of attitude  yet we fall into the same interest: BOYS! Aw... Hahahaha... We usually hang out in food chains, we love to eat...eat...eat... talk...talk...talk... about boys again! And we super love to laugh! We love to shout, hmmm... I mean sing! Go to movies and shout again, John Lloyd!!! Piolo!!! That's how crazy we are!

For me, every time we plan to see each other, I would really look forward into the topics to laugh about! My girl friends are nothing but the best, you can always reach them whenever they're not busy! Hahahaha... Well that's understandable because we have different jobs. Though we studied the same course, sumakabilang landas ang iba! Hahahaha... Change of career path kumbaga, and luckily we were still able to reach each other.

Meet the Kringgas!
We're for real, we have official logo!

Family

In our family I am the eldest, however, I don't look like one. Starting off with the height, petite talaga! Hahaha! But I still get that respect I needed from them. Though, siblings fight can't be avoided specially when you're growing up, the level of fight also levels up. But as we grow, (I don't grow, hahaha) we tend to fix things in the right way too! We know how to compromise and understand our situation well to fix fights. Nothing compares to the feeling of being around with your siblings, cracking jokes, making fun with each other, like teasing each other though kailangan magcareful kasi may pikon (ako) ahahaha... Sharing thoughts, funny experiences at school, work or even at home. They say if you are born in the month of February, sira-ulo ka! I don't care! Hahahaha.. In the family, there are three of us who share the same month of birthday. Ang saya ng bahay namin., can you imagine that?  I'm so happy I got the craziest group of siblings! hahaha... I love them!

So thankful of my parents Papa (Greg) and Mama (Mely) that they trained us well how to be good individuals. We owe you everything.

Me

Hmmm... I was thinking of making a blog for my own long time ago, personalized one; as in ako jud! Not about work or anybody but me! Oh well, it took me a lot of time to think about this: If I will make one for my own... hmm.. what will I write? hahaha... Then I told myself, who cares?!! As they say, "just go with the flow". "Let's give it a try Coi", I told myself.

Hey wait, I haven't told you my name yet? Oh yeah, the title. But that's not my real name. Maricor comes from my beautiful real name as my father told me way back then, Maria. Corazon, a Spanish term which means Mary(s) Heart in English. When I was a little child, I didn't bother about my name, but when I was in my elementary years, classmates would start to tease me by my name, they say it sounds classic, old, and heroic! As a child of course I used to fight back but what can I do, fighting them back wont change my name! Aaaarrgghhh! hahahha... But that was before, when I was in high school I learned to love my name because I realize my parents gave me that name and I know they named me that because they loved me when they first saw me. Can you imagine the transition of being childish into a little mature person? Yes, little mature since I know I wasn't that mature yet. Well in college, my name was still an issue, my friends would call me Corazon and sometimes I really hate it but sometimes I love it when they call me that. Because they say, the sweetest word that would come out in a person's mouth is your name. However it matters on how that person says your name. Enough about my name. Hey, did I wrote a lot about my name? Nahhh...

I will not tell you everything about me in my first post. But I assure you, you will know me well as you go through my blog. See you in my next post.
